Tribal Members, the last day to submit an application to use FY18 Funds for TCR, EA, HUD and Funeral Attendance Assistance is September 24th by 5PM

Please note that if you have not reconciled all advances for TCR, EA or Canoe Journey you will not be eligible to access these FY19 programs until you have submitted receipts.

The last day to submit for a Back to School Clothing Advance is September 24th by 5PM.

The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe desires to contract with an independent audit firm for audit services of the Tribe’s primary government financial statements and the related notes for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2018.  The Tribe desires an audit report that meets the minimum requirements of the Single Audit Act for submission to the Single Audit Clearinghouse, which should include only the Tribe’s primary governmental (consisting only of the General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, and Internal Service Fund).

Please note: the Tribal offices will remain closed on Thursday, August 22, 2018 due to continued poor air quality. The offices are anticipated to open on Friday, August 24th.

Our Tribal Youth Camp will be closing due to air quality concerns. Staff will be working on calling parents and vendors.

Please plan to pick up your child as soon as possible and no later than 9am on Tuesday August 21.

The only applications being processed this week due to the closure are July Food Assistance and any submissions that are considered Emergencies in nature. The housing department will pledge all utility bills. Education will process any tuition payments that have a due date this week.
 
All other submissions will not be processed until next week.
 

Due to poor air quality, per Tribal Council directive, we will be closing our administration offices today (Monday, August 20) at 2 PM and remain closed through Wednesday, August 22, 2018. We expect to resume operations on Thursday, August 23, 2018. 

Directors and Managers, please pass this message along to your employees. Those departments with essential services, that may have appointments scheduled, please provide those services and then you will be free to leave once those appointments are complete. 

We share with prayers and sadness the passing of beloved Tribal Elder Elmer Eugene Assman. Elmer was born September 10, 1932 and passed away on August 16, 2018. He served eight years in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.

We will share details regarding services at a later time.
