In an effort to provide better health care services to all its members, the Tribe will be consolidating the Tolt Community Clinic with the North Bend Family Clinic. Housed in one building, the North Bend Clinic will continue to provide health care services to Tribal Members as well as the public.

"The health services of the Tribe are of the utmost importance to the well-being of our Tribal Members," said Carolyn Lubenau, Tribal Chairwoman.

New General Manager: Ralph Honhongva

Ralph Honhongva has been hired to be the new General Manager of the Snoqualmie Tribal Administration. The Tribal Council selected Ralph after a thorough application and interview process.

Ralph is a member of the Hopi Tribe. He has a Bachelors Degree in Management from the University of New Mexico, and a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University. He has extensive experience working with tribes in various capacities, including many years as a tribal general manager.

Due to a training, the Housing Department will be closed on Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 30th. The department will be open again on Friday, October 31st.

On this year's Washington State ballot, voters are asked to consider Advisory Vote 9 (Engrossed Substitute House Bill 1287), concerning leasehold excise tax on tribal property. Voters are asked to choose to either "repeal" or "maintain" this bill.

The ballot advisory question seeks voter affirmation to continue to direct land-use tax on use of tribal property by private parties in lieu of property taxes. Although the State Legislature has already made this change, state law requires a subsequent nonbinding vote by the people (an advisory vote).

The mailing address for the Tribe has not changed. It is still Post Office Box 969 Snoqualmie, WA 98065. All Tribal mail needs to be sent to this address.
