Request for Proposal (RFP) for Health Clinic Consulting Services for the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe

The Snoqualmie Tribe seeks to retain the services of a qualified health care provider and/or manager to provide consulting services for its Clinic (the “Contractor”).

The selected Contractor will, in accordance with the highest legal, ethical and professional standards, provide at the direction of designated Tribal officials and staff, consulting services including but not limited to the following services:

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Clinic’s existing operations, including without limitation: current Clinic operational structure; marketing and business development practices; patient scheduling; staffing levels and competencies; patient care; billing practices; policies, procedures, and processes; budget and budgeting practices; recordkeeping and inventory; medication administration, compliance with applicable Tribal, federal, and State laws and regulations; compliance with contractual and grant requirements; and gaps and duplications in operations.
  • Provide a comprehensive report detailing the results of the foregoing assessment, and making concrete and specific recommendations for all needs and suggested improvements identified.
  • Guide personnel in the implementation of the identified improvements, including without limitation:  drafting/revising job descriptions; drafting/revising policies and procedures; recruiting qualified personnel; identifying specific staff training needs; and more.
  • Conduct follow-up audit(s) as requested, which may include without limitation audit(s) for compliance, quality medical service, safety, customer service, inventory and equipment checks, medication administration, etc.
  • Communicate the results of the follow-up audit(s), with recommendations for continuing improvements, and guide personnel in the implementation of such continuing improvements.
  • Potentially provide patient care if requested and if the Contractor is a licensed medical provider. This list of services is intended as a general guide, and is not intended to be a complete list of all work necessary to provide the requested services.

The successful proposer shall have a demonstrated knowledge and expertise to serve the unique needs of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe.
